Catch Some Wide Eye

Downward Facing Dog, I Am

to wrap slowly
your fingers to mine
embrace, retrace
the cicatrice
that changed our lives forever

with a subtle breath
we bear melodies
in our minds of crimson grass.

bleed symphonies
on our papyrus yesterdays;
i shift my gravity
to align my spine with the sun.

there is no one around
by the time i am done,
your essence being
little more than silver thread.
