the clear cut answers are not for me
with their logic and clarity, no-
i prefer the world of ribbons and twists
folded patterns of imagination
buttered with what ifs and maybes
not laid out like a simple equation
or the clockwork around my wrists
my thoughts are colors in full saturation

Catch Some Wide Eye 
I’ve read four poems today that made me think, “Wow, I wish I’d written this.”
This is one of them. The perception – not unfamiliar – is filtered through a rejuvenating word screen (i.e., the poem), and meaningful without getting precious about it. Simply stated, great word choices, honest, with distinctive imagery. Love the title, too. It’s my favorite title thus far.
Very right brained indeed.

That’s why Einstein was wrong about Relativity – he saw time as clock hands sweeping round in circles (the farther away, the faster they go, etc) when actually time is digital and a tic is a tock everywhere in the universe all at once.
(Hmm? What have I been smoking?!? Why I never!)

I’m with you! I’m a docent at our art museum and we have an exhibit created by a mathmetician who starts with an equation, inputs it into software he develops and prints out incredible images….I, for one, am afraid to show it! Really enjoyed this poem.
